This December, thousands of world leaders will gather in Copenhagen to create a roadmap for combating climate change. Now you can be part of the action. AED would like to bring a bit of COP-15 to the residents of Washington, DC on Sunday afternoon, December 13 with the world premiere of an important film “One Degree Matters.” The European Environment Agency (EEA), as part of its support to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change 15th Conference of the Parties (COP-15), will be hosting the world premiere of "One Degree Matters." While EEA is hosting the Copenhagen event in the evening, AED will host a similar event at the same time (in the afternoon EST) to include the following:
We know it is the holidays and we are also hoping to have a couple of “alternative gift” representatives to reflect environmental and climate change concerns. So take a break from the shopping and come and be inspired - the films are great. Seating capacity is limited to 200 individuals. So please RSVP as soon as possible if you want to attend. For more information about the event or suggestions on others to invite contact the following: onedegree@aed.org |
